Serena and Ryan’s Country Inn wedding venue The Belfray was used for the couple’s ceremony and reception with groom prep in the Hotel. Serena booked me as their Wedding Photographer in Derry. The first stop for myself was groom prep in the Country Inn where the lads were chilling out with plenty of beers, then I made my way to Serena’s mum’s house for bridal preps. By the time I arrived, nearly everyone was pretty much ready, unlike the lads lol ;), including their two daughters. So it wasn’t too long before I headed back to the Country Inn wedding venue.

We all headed to the hotel in the limos for the ceremony (the reception was here too) and must say the decor by Canterbury Tails was perfect. Afterwards, while everyone was on their feet, we took a couple of large group shots in front of the hotel itself. Weather-wise it was a great day as it was sunny but also cloudy, which made it ideal.

The Country Inn wedding was booked for the intimate wedding ceremony and also the evening reception. Before you get married look and research some country inns for your wedding venue and have so much character. Most guests went to the lounge while we discussed where to go. It was decided we’d make our way to Ness Country Park for a bridal party and then take the family back to the hotel. We'd met before for their Ness Country Park engagement a couple of weeks beforehand. The park was huge offering lots of areas that would make great opportunities.

Back at the hotel we organised family at the front of the building, then headed indoors for the speeches and dinner. Afterwards, we took some bride and groom, then got ready for the first dance as the DJ David Black Entertainments stepped up the music. Afterwards, the Hard 2 Handle band started doing their thing. Derry has a few country inn wedding venues and this one was one of the best, for sure. All the best with your future, thank you.
