I’ve worked and photographed for several commercial businesses in Portadown, Co Armagh. Here are just a few examples. Fantastic Indian-themed make-up and styling photos in Portadown for local make-up artist (MUA) Kuku: Nail and Beauty Training. An MUA make-up person contacted me about getting a few shots of her make-up with Indian-style clothes and make-up on the model.  I was more than happy to oblige and help out but we couldn’t shoot full body length as the clothes were only down to the model’s waist I think we did a pretty good job nevertheless.

Gym Photographer

Gym and personal training commercial photos for a business in Portadown. I photographed exercise classes and personal trainers taking classes.  I arrived early in the evening with my camera before classes started. The fitness gym photoshoot was carried out in three studios inside the building. Upstairs was the gym and two exercise classes downstairs. I took gym fitness photography in all three rooms so there was a good range of photos.

Event Photographer

Boxing club event photos as the event was held in Seagoe Hotel and the boxers travelled from all over Northern Ireland. The organisation Fight Club NI that organised the boxing event is from Lurgan but the boxers and spectators have travelled from all over the country. The matches were exciting from start to finish and featured both male and female boxers. The room was fairly well-packed. A great night from start to finish for me as an event photographer in Portadown.

Commercial Headshots

Headshot portrait photos for a Portadown business for use, online and printing marketing. The owner wanted simple headshot photos on a white background. I set up a pop-up white background with a beauty dish and one or two flashes lighting the background to make sure it was white. The results were simple and effective.

Commercial Photography

Commercial photos for inclusion in a Belfast magazine publication for AF Davison Ltd, a transport haulage firm in Gilford, County Down. We shot some varied exterior photos before proceeding inside which was a massive warehouse. To show scale we thought putting a person with a forklift at the back of the warehouse would be ideal. There were a few other parts of the warehouse we shot too but the warehouse photos were the most urgent for the deadline of the publication so as soon as I finished I headed back to the office for some editing.

Commercial Photos in Lurgan for business Flawless Beauty Pamper Parties as I was booked as a commercial photographer in Lurgan. There were five girls dressed up as fairytale characters and the owner, Angela, booked me for a couple hours photo shoot and we photographed a varied range in different areas in Brownlow House, Lurgan trying to break things up a bit including at the entrance. One of the images was used in an article about the business in the newspaper Portadown Times. Photos to come.

Commercial photos for inclusion in a food magazine publication called The Grocer. The magazine is for independent retailers, wholesalers and suppliers and the magazine phoned me to take commercial photos at Tesco in Lurgan. The magazine only wanted a couple of combinations of the manager at the front of Tesco with the brand name of the shop displayed with a couple of display photos inside. After I emailed the magazine they picked one of each for the article. Photos to come.

Commercial product photography for an eyelash business in Belfast I was booked as a commercial photographer in Belfast. The company sent out some samples of their products for me to use. They wanted their products on a plain white background for use in printed materials and social media.

Food Photographer

Food photos in Portadown for inclusion in various social media campaigns and printed materials as we set up a simple table to photograph the food on. This was for an established chip shop business in the town and I tried a few different angles. There were a few food items we photographed including BBQ wings, a munchy box, and foot long hot dog, all looking very tasty.

Small Business Photography
