Engagement and Couples Photographer
I'm an Engagement Photographer in Portadown, Northern Ireland, creating relaxed engagement and pre-wedding photos for couples’ outdoor sessions. They are a great way to capture natural images before your day and are often used for save-the-date cards, social media and invites. I photograph couples across Craigavon, Belfast, Armagh and throughout Northern Ireland.
Pre Wedding Shoots in County Armagh
I primarily serve the Craigavon and County Armagh areas, but I still travel throughout Northern Ireland for pre-wedding shoots. In the past, couples have used photos for special cards, posters, and thank you cards, amongst many other things - the list is endless. Of course, couples also upload some of them onto their own social media accounts and tag friends.
As one of the best engagement photographers in Portadown, I think the best is when you are chilling out, relaxing and having fun, with a few smooching (i.e., kisses) if both of you are into it. If you’d like to hire me for your marriage proposal or a surprise, get in touch.

Gift Vouchers Available
Gift Vouchers are available for you to purchase. This can be emailed as an e-gift card or a physical gift voucher. This is much better as you can hand this to the person or relative you are buying it for, rather than simply emailing, which isn't as personal in my opinion.
NOTE: Terms and conditions apply as there is a time limit for when this needs to be used. If not used within the stated date, the voucher is then voided, and no refund will be given.

Frequently Asked Questions
What month is best for a couple’s photo shoot?
The summer, autumn and spring months are best due to the weather and being more than likely to be a good day, but, if you think about it, if it’s snowing, the wintertime would be great in the right location. If it’s raining a little, there is no reason why you still can’t take some. If it’s too heavy, head to a sheltered spot.
What are the best places to propose?
There are many places you can propose at.
What should you NOT do?
Too many changes of clothes, one is fine
Stick with one max location
Come with a bad-tempered mood, it won’t work as you won’t get those nice candid moments
Not picking comfortable clothing and shoes
If you feel a bit camera-shy, it's normal, and the photographer will help create a relaxed atmosphere.
What colours do you wear?
If you are going to a park or garden-type environment where there are lots of greens, then you shouldn’t wear greens, you should wear colours contrasting with this, such as blues, purples and white. Light colours are great, anything except greens would be ideal. This is because you will blend in too much with the background. You don’t need any more outfits other than the outfit you're wearing. This is a bit overkill. If you want, bring some props, but again, you don’t need to.
They are a great way to get familiar with a photographer, taking yours before your day. It’s very laid back and casual compared to your actual day, which can be quite busy and rushed. In my opinion, it’s essential. They can be traditional or can be something a bit different and more creative, reflecting both your personalities. We’ll try some poses as well as some natural and less posed ones.
