Summer July Engagement Photos in Lurgan Park
Summer July Engagement Photos in Lurgan Park with Brooke and Scott. The couple booked me for a photo session in County Armagh in the largest in NI.
Lurgan Park Engagement Photography
For a bit of a change, the male, Scott, booked me for engagement pictures in Lurgan Park, which was great as I live in Portadown, so only about a 10-minute drive away. Brooke is also from Portadown, and Scott lives in Waringstown, so we’re all quite close. We met at the entrance to the park on Windsor Avenue. As usual, I asked the couple if they wanted some kissing-type photos, and they said that was fine.
Lurgan Park is meant to be one of the largest urban parks in Northern Ireland. The park is known as a hidden gem. There are some events here during the summer months. It is located beside a man-made lake with plenty of swans on show and jetties scattered around the lake for fishermen and families to sit and enjoy a picnic. Not too far away is Brownlow Castle. There are also the tennis courts over to one side of the park and a kids’ play park. It’s all well-maintained by Craigavon Borough Council.
We took a walk around some parts of the park, taking photos if we saw something interesting. In the summer months always good to wear something casual. As an engagement photographer, there was no shortage of areas within walking distance. I tried to think of a few variations in walking, standing, posing and sitting down to break the engagement photos up a bit. There was a big path with lots of trees around leading to a small bridge. Onto the forest part of the park, where there were some jetties, which made the photos more interesting. The photo shoot lasted about 45 minutes and was well worth it.
We finished off by going over their schedule as they are having their reception at the Portadown Golf Club, and they have booked me for their Wedding Pictures. Hope you enjoy your engagement photos, Brook and Scott. All the best.
