Autumn Engagement Photos in Scrabo Country Park with Ashley, Jake and the couple’s dog, Max. The couple booked for a session near Newtownards.
Scrabo Country Park Engagement Photography
Ashley, Jake and the couple’s dog, Max, came along for their Scrabo Country Park engagement photos. Am not sure I knew they were going to bring their dog, but I’m super glad they did. Ashley is Scottish, and Jake is from Belfast, where they both live, and we all decided that the Scrabo Country Park would be nice. It was quite cold, so everyone wrapped themselves in their winter clothes as it was autumn. This time of the year is great as you get the light brown and golden leaves on the ground, and you can see the branches on the trees.
We started with a couple of active type photos, as the engagement photographer usually does, as this helps start the engagement session before heading into the woodlands. We took a couple of pictures before breaking things up a bit with a couple of variations, but didn't quite make it up to Scrabo Tower, which I believe you can see views of Strangford Lough and North Down, but maybe next time. There were wooden steps and then some large rocks and stones. Going by the number of people in the park, it looked like a popular walking spot and good for dog walkers too, which is right next to Scrabo Golf Club.
We finished off by going over their schedule as they are getting married in the Orange Tree House, which is in two weeks. Hope you enjoy your engagement photos, Ashley and Jake. All the best.
