Mahon Road Birthday and Engagement Photos and Video

Mahon Road, Portadown, Birthday and Engagement Photos and Video in the Countryside with the helicopter landing at Markethill and Gilford, with a proposal later.

First stop, Mahon Road

I was contacted for a video engagement proposal, and I suggested some photos, too, just to break things up. The proposal was after I had finished in Donegal, so I have no photos or video of this, unfortunately. I drove past Armagh Road to arrive at Mahon Road, where I attached a small portable microphone to the male’s inside jacket so it wouldn’t be noticeable when zooming into the photos and to record clearer audio, which I may use later. They also receive all audio recordings anyway.

Roy Orr Helicopter (also called Challenger Helicopters) was booked to stop off at Mahon Road and a few other locations, so I arrived a bit early to have a look around and film some footage. Even though it was filmed, I still took a couple of photos with the pilot when he landed on the next-door neighbour’s land. The countryside is beautiful to photograph around these parts of town.

A quick stop off outside Markethill

Next stop was just outside Markethill, thankfully in the countryside, to collect his partner and girlfriend. I made sure to leave Mahon Road quickly to get here ASAP, as I knew the helicopter would get there quicker than I could drive. This was her parents’ house, but thankfully, there was plenty of garden space at the side of the house for the helicopter to land. I was hiding behind some bushes and saw them coming, and he made a pass around the location as pilots do to make sure there are no overhead wires or anything like that before landing. We took some photos beside the helicopter of the family, including one of the parents. They flew off to Gilford.

The male's partner and mother are beside the helicopter.

Finally, Gilford Engagement Pictures

As the surprise was over at this stage, I could take my time driving to Gilford in County Down as we made our way to a plot of land just off the village centre. The helicopter landed with the couple at the centre of the grass area. The couple got out and had a nice picnic beside some bushes in the shade. I filmed a bit of this and then took photos of the engaged couple afterwards. Before they flew to Donegal, I made sure I got my portable microphone back, as I might need it for the video. All the best with your future.

Note: Have deliberately left names off and not uploaded too many images as the couple want to remain anonymous.

Engagement Photos with your Wedding Package

Did you know you might get engagement pictures included with your wedding photo package if you book me for your big day? The engagement pics don't need to be in Portadown or Markethill, though, but depending on which package you’ve booked me for, you might get engagement pictures anywhere in Northern Ireland. Check this out by exploring the website further.
