Wedding Photographer and Videographer

I have much experience as a wedding photographer and videographer in Northern Ireland, producing the best wedding photography and videography. I can work both but not simultaneously as I’m one person (solo), so you need to decide if you want wedding videos or photos for certain parts of your wedding day. As an example, I was booked by the bride and groom for both at their evening reception and as a result, they got wedding photos and videos, too. I love both, so I can easily switch between working as a wedding photographer or a videographer, as I have over nine years of experience.

Each price is for both wedding photos and videos, so it consists of a package. I keep things simple and don’t offer many different wedding photography and videography packages as such, but instead, I focus on two wedding photography and videography packages, which are full-day and include the following. There is no point in less than a full wedding day, as this doesn’t make sense.

Breakdown

I have tried to explain my wedding photography and video packages below as best as possible, but if there is anything else you need to know, don’t hesitate to email me. This can also be applied to wedding photo and video packages in Irish (Ireland ROI).

  1. A pre-wedding (similar to an engagement) shoot is 30 to 45 minutes and includes a consultation at your chosen location to go over your wedding day.

Note: This can be photos, video or possibly both.

  2. All day, from morning bridal preparations up to the second dance.

  3. Free printing rights so that you can print your photos.

  4. I’ll either be recording small video clips throughout the day, or you can decide which part of the day should be filmed, e.g., the ceremony, speeches and the first dance.

Any video and audio that I record will be saved on your USB.

  5. The wooden USB comes with a small presentation box.

Optional Extras

  1. Personalised USB £190 extra per unit

  2. Additional album £490 based on the above size, pages and finish

How much is a Wedding Photographer and Videographer?

For the above price, which is all day, it is £1990 (2300 Irish euros if you are in ROI). This is a great average in NI. I don’t want to go through what you get as it’s already stated above, but a note about price. I believe my wedding photography and videography price to be fair and a good average. It is not too expensive and certainly not too low, I would say my price is reasonable. I offer only one price because there is no point in booking for 1 hour. After all, you will get next to nothing regarding wedding photos and videos. It is just a waste of time. You need someone to be there all day photographing and filming.

Wedding Photography and Videography Package

As a real-life example of a wedding photography and videography package in Ireland, I am showing you this couple’s wedding photos and video and what they got as part of their package by booking me. I don’t have many packages except one, which you can read more about above. I don’t want to go into too much detail on their actual wedding day, as you can read more on that on the couple’s blog.

I have a lot of experience, which is why I produce the best wedding photography and videography in Ireland over the border in the south (ROI). I can work both but not at the same time as I’m one person, so you need to decide if you want wedding photos or videos for parts of your big day. As an example, I was booked by the bride and groom for both their wedding photography and videography for their evening reception, and as a result, they got photos and videos, too. Some wedding examples are below I shot at the couple’s evening reception.

Hybrid wedding photographer examples are below, and I produced a highlights film with video clips filmed throughout the evening with audio synced for better, clearer sound. I was with the couple from bridal preparations and ceremony in Lurgan to their first dance at the Belmont House Hotel reception in Banbridge. Hence, they received plenty of wedding photos and video footage from the big day. PLAY VIDEO

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve tried to answer as best as I can some of the best wedding photographer and videographer FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), and if there is anything, just let me know by contacting me with more information on your wedding day. Some more info and FAQs, but if you are interested in booking me, contact me with your wedding photo and video package.  As I would be switching between the two, I would not get as many wedding photos and videos as if I were booked for one or the other, as I would be doing both; this is called hybrid wedding photography.

Where do you cover?

I cover all over NI and border counties in ROI.

Who is this for?

This is for a couple looking under £2000 for a wedding package and is for brides and grooms who don’t want thousands of photos or hours of video footage, but you can still book me just for one or the other as a wedding photographer or videographer.

Wedding Packages in Ireland (Irish)

I’m available as an Irish wedding photographer and videographer and also travel to the border counties, travel is included in the price, so nothing extra. Besides the sterling price is my cost for the Irish euro and Ireland (ROI), unfortunately, I can’t travel too far south within a 2-hour drive from the border, if you need any more info, don’t hesitate to contact me. To work out up-to-date Irish euro prices, convert sterling to Irish euro using an online calculator. I cover some parts of Ireland (ROI) as I’m an Irish wedding photographer and videographer and cover along the border counties, including Sligo, Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.

Wedding Photographer and Videographer

A quick breakdown and some notes on my wedding photography and videography packages.

  1. Bridal preparations and, if possible, groom prep - photos and video clips can be shot and filmed at this stage

  2. Portraits and family photos - photos only

Decide what should be photographed or filmed at your Wedding.

  1. Ceremony (video is best for this part), speeches (video is best for this part) and first dance (video is best for this part)

  2. If I am shooting photos in certain parts of the day, there will not be any video filmed, and if there is video filmed, there will not be any photos

  3. If you want video, I will have various audio recorders recording and also attached to various people. There will also be a second camera set up, usually pointed at the groom. Please say which you want photos or video for this

Average Cost

The average cost of a wedding photographer and videographer, like everything, varies a great deal. This depends on experience, photo equipment and video gear. I have tried to strike a balance therefore, my prices are excellent. A photographer costs around the £1590 mark, and a videographer costs around the same £1590, so if you add these up, you get an average of £3180. But then that is for two professionals, so I can’t charge the same amount.

Wedding Package under £2000

My wedding package under £2000 is for any brides and grooms with a budget at this price in the city and anywhere else. My price is under £2000 so you will save money on this package by booking me. My price is for one person solo, a hybrid wedding photographer. A hybrid wedding photographer works as both a wedding photographer and videographer simultaneously. You can’t do both at the very same time so there are two options for this you can decide on. Your hybrid wedding photography can be either

  1. For example, at the ceremony, I can take photos and short video clips. This is not ideal, and I would recommend against this approach.

    or

  2. You can decide you don’t want any photos at the ceremony, and I can video as much of the ceremony as possible.

Having a Wedding Photographer and Videographer is important

There are several reasons why having a wedding photographer and videographer is important on your wedding day. Here are just a few reasons

Capturing different aspects

While a photographer can capture still moments beautifully, if you switch to a videographer, I can capture the movement, emotions, and atmosphere in a way that photos can’t. Having both photos and videos on your day ensures comprehensive documentation of your special day. I can do this by using the latest technology I have, years ago you couldn’t have.

Memory preservation

Video captures not only visual but also auditory elements, such as vows, speeches, and laughter, which can evoke strong memories and emotions when revisited from your special day. This adds depth to your recollection of the day.

Sharing with those absent

Not everyone can attend your wedding day, but sharing a video allows them to experience those special moments almost as if they were there. It's a way to include loved ones who couldn't physically be present.
