Let’s start with the best wedding venues in Moira. Moira is quite small but it’s located right beside the motorway so easy to get to from anywhere. I’m sure there are more venues but we will have a look at these. First, there is…

The StillHouse Moira

The StillHouse Moira, right in the centre of the village about 5 minutes or so away from the motorway which takes you all over the country. The restaurant and pub serve the local community. Their website says boutique weddings and looking at images of the inside it certainly fits the part. It’s a buildings that feature stone walls, and oak beams above the ceilings and a walled garden which may be good for wedding family photos. A Barn

The second (2) is a Barn in Aghagallon which is very impressive indeed. This is about 10 minutes drive from Moira. Again this isn't a hotel so you will need to seek accommodation elsewhere.

Country Club

The third (3) is a Country Club which is a golf course, restaurant and bar close by that has plenty of B&Bs. It’s about 20 minutes drive from Moira. The club has a medium-sized function room that they convert into a reception room. I have a blog post which goes into more detail which is worth checking out. Photos to come soon.

Ashburn Hotel

The fourth (4) is Ashburn Hotel in the centre of Lurgan near the train station (with excess around the back of the hotel) but I think they only concentrate on smaller Weddings. Photos to come soon.

There is also Moira village hall pretty much just off the centre of the village that could be used for your wedding but you need to check with the council on that. Another notable wedding venue is Brownlow House and you can also have a read through my Lurgan wedding blog for further reading.

Alchemy Moira

The fourth (4) is The Alchemy Moira (formerly known as The Tannery Moira) which again isn’t a hotel so you not be able to stay here overnight (plenty of accommodation). Again this is about a 10-minute drive from the centre of Moira. They prides itself on the luxurious surroundings at the buildings and in Moira. Photos to come soon. It is permanently closed now.
