Lusty Beg Island Wedding Video in Lower Lough Erne
Lusty Beg Island Wedding Videography with Joanna and Michael in Lower Lough Erne and also Enniskillen for bridal preparations, which was wet.
Joanna and Michael’s wedding forecasted rain, and I was booked for bridal preparations for the ceremony and reception in Kesh. In the morning, I made my way to Joanna’s family home, where the girls had hair and make-up already finished earlier with Joanna’s parents, sister and bridal party. There were a few video clips of the dress hanging up before filming some bridal preparations, and everyone chilling out, relaxing, making for a very relaxed morning indeed. Also, a few things like wedding cards and flowers by Clare Flowers.
Last Minute Wedding Video in Northern Ireland
I’m so glad I was booked as a last-minute wedding videographer as the special day was great from the start (although a little wet!) to the finish. Closer to leaving, the girls changed into their dresses, everyone looking fantastic, by the way, with Joanna looking the most spectacular in her dress! The campervan by Star Car Hire arrived, and before the family left, I grabbed a few more video clips before I headed off to Lustybeg Island. My sat nav told me the night before it would take 30 minutes, but for some reason, it had changed to 1 hour, so I was already late as it was, thanks to Apple Maps! When I arrived on the shores of Lough Erne, there, as you’d expect, was too long a queue, so I parked in the car park, grabbed my video gear, and briskly headed to the ceremony room. The place is certainly unique, and we all had a great day. Let’s chat about your wedding; I’d love to be a part of it.
Island Wedding Ceremony in Kesh
The minister, Eleanor Hayden, was already there with Michael and the groomsmen, so I quickly set up my second camera and audio microphones as I needed sound recorded as well as beside the singer, Lisa Murphy and keyboard player at the back of the room. The ceremony room was well decorated. The bridal party walked up the aisle first, then the bride, accompanied by her dad, walked in lastly, and the ceremony commenced as you’d expect from a minister. It was quite religious but not too much, along with a good selection of hymns.
There were two speakers, Andrew, Joanna’s brother and also Allen, Michael’s brother. Both didn’t pick up the microphone, so I simply moved behind the bride and groom and positioned myself as close as possible to the speakers so I could record the readings. There was some fun to be had in the ceremony as it was quite light-hearted.
Afterwards, guests made their way to the lounge area, and Joanna and Michael headed out beside the Beetle Campervan before the chauffeur was finished. At this stage, it was still raining, so there was a canopy beside the ceremony room windows.
Wedding Videographer Enniskillen
As a Wedding Videographer in Enniskillen, if you like my work, please get in touch, as I only take on several weddings each year and work throughout Northern Ireland. Lusty Beg is great as it’s an island, so you're confined, which has good and bad points, of course. As a videographer, bringing the correct equipment to do the job is important for me. As a cinematographer, I filmed the ceremony with two cameras and a few microphones for superior audio. There is no point in having clear 4 K video footage and dreadful audio that no one can hear.it
I also filmed the reception speeches with two cameras. One wide film with a cellphone on the camera and a small microphone attached to it. I also have a microphone on the camera I operate. The first dances were also filmed with two cameras. Check out this link for another wedding video on the island outside. Contact Philip with more info. Thank you.
Before the guests were called in for the celebrations, as the speeches were about to start, there was some quick footage of the fab cake by Baked by Ann. Joanna’s dad poked fun at the groom’s football team choice, which was jolly good fun indeed. Then, both Michael’s brothers’ speeches, finishing off with the groom’s speech.
The rain stopped, so I got a bit of drone footage that I thought I could hopefully incorporate into the highlights film. There were a few more people outside now as the staff was clearing tables.
The dance floor was in a different position when I was here last, as the hotel built a new private bar at the back of the function room, so the dance floor was in the middle of the room with the band off to the side. The Engagement’s band called the bride and groom in for the first dance, which I filmed with a two-camera setup up so there are a couple of angles. Plenty of audio recorders were used, too. Everyone joined in, too, which was great to see along with the guests. Have a great future together, Joanna and Michael and thanks for booking me as your wedding videographer.
If you are getting married here, check out my price, which is affordable for your wedding. I have various prices available, ranging from a couple of hours up to a full day, which is from bridal preparations up to your first dance.
My wedding packages for video are half-day and full-day, which is the best package, and both include a USB with a keepsake box. I’d recommend a full day.
Full day from bridal preparations up to the second dance
Bridal preparations up to speeches or ceremony, up to the second dance.
Less than my minimum package is not worth it, as you are missing out on so much at the beginning or the end of the day. If you want less, though, contact me with more info. This will be about £100 less than my minimum package.
Bookings can be done through my relevant page by clicking on that link, but you need to check if I’m available first for your date. This is important as I could already be booked up, but contact me as soon as you have your date confirmed. Booking is very simple, as you pay the booking fee and then the rest one month before your day.
