Wedding Photography and Videography Equipment
My Wedding Photography and Video Equipment and gear are kept to a minimum for my business, making it much easier to move and travel with. Anything that isn't used is sold after 3 to 6 months, as I prefer to keep it for a bit, in case I change my mind, haha! However, to be upfront, certain equipment is needed for wedding photography.
Both Photography and Video
When I’m working at a wedding solo, I need to switch between photos and video quickly. My setup lets me do this with ease. My gear is listed below. Sometimes I film with two cameras, so I use the camera I operate on a monopod and the second camera filming wide at 35mm on a tripod, so it is static.
Nikon Z6 camera bodies x2
Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S
Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.8 S
Yongnuo flashes x3
Manfrotto Monopod
Manfrotto Tripod
Sony Audio Recorders x5
Rode Mics x2

Now, I’m not saying this is the best gear, but it ticks all my boxes bar a couple that I can live without. This is always expanding and growing, as you’d expect, so there needs to be some testing of new gear and equipment, which is why I have my YouTube channel.
Wedding Videography Equipment
I use the same gear with some additions for video. Now, I’m not saying this is the best gear, but it ticks all my boxes bar a couple that I can live without. Wedding Photography Editing
I use Adobe Lightroom for editing wedding photography, and I find this ideal software for this. I can catalogue and batch edit images with great ease. Some minor tweaks can be done in Adobe Photoshop, but most if not 99%, can be accomplished in LR. Both software I have been using for years. I can very easily export photos to JPEG format for saving onto the USB or emailing customers.
