Ness Country Park Engagement Photos with Serena and Ryan in Derry / Londonderry on a sunny day, when I met with them for fun and romantic images. As I’m not from the city I didn’t know where to meet them, but Serena suggested the park.

The country park is on a 55-acre site which includes the Ness Wood, Burntollet River and Ervey Wood Nature Research with a waterfall. This is meant to be one of the highest in Northern Ireland. There is plenty of woodland in the park. A great spot for walkers and nature types. There's plenty of car parking available, and it’s free to enter the park. The wildlife is stunning, and you might be lucky enough to spot red squirrels, badgers, otters and butterflys and have plenty of bluebells. If a bit stuck, there is a map’ there is a map showing you the park layout.

We took a walk around the park, photographing anything we found interesting. The park is a beautiful location. Nature is a great backdrop, and Northern Ireland has some of the best backdrops. What if it rains? Who cares. The rain might add a bit of sparkle to your images, too.

We took a casual walk around some parts of the country park, taking pictures if we saw something that stood out. In the summer months, this is fairly easy. For engagement photos, there was no shortage of areas within walking distance. I tried to think of variations in walking, standing, posing and sitting down to break the engagement photos up a bit. As it was summer, the flowers were in full bloom, with plenty of pink and red on display. I hope you enjoy your engagement photos, Serena and Ryan.
