Carrickdale Hotel Wedding: Prices in the Dundalk Venue
Carrickdale Hotel wedding as Victoria and Ryan booked me for a full-day price in Dundalk for their photos as we’d met for their pre-wedding previously. I must say Carrickdale Hotel weddings are the best in Ireland. Before heading to Carrickdale I made my way to Victoria’s mum’s house in the city centre for some bridal prep.
I travelled from Belfast over the border for this wedding so a bit of driving throughout the day. But first I followed the girls onto two of the local beauty salons where they were getting makeup and hair done. Afterwards onto Ryan’s parent’s house on the other side of the city in Hawthorn Glen, which was the other side of the city for a couple of groom prep, then made my way back to Victoria’s for one final time before the cars arrived.
We moved onto St Oliver's Catholic Church located on the other side of the city close to Ryan’s house. After the ceremony we shot all the guests who attended at the front of the church, we thought it might be a good idea to get some of the bridal party in the Oliver Plunkett parish and everyone else headed onto the hotel.

Unfortunately while driving over the border towards the couple’s Carrickdale Hotel wedding there was a slight hint of rain that just got heavier as we drove closer. We had planned to get some shots in the garden but due to weather, we had little option other than to shoot some in the foyer which was jolly good fun nevertheless. There are some wonderful grounds beside the reception area and building. On a sunny day, this would be the perfect spot.
The speeches and afterwards while we had a bit of time and as it was nighttime now we got a couple of bride and groom in the garden (as the rain had died down at this stage), then headed back in for the couple’s first dance.
