Menu Printing for Takeaways & Restaurants

Menu Printing in Northern Ireland and Belfast for takeaways and restaurants can be any quantity and size and are affordable. They can be designed too, so you don’t need artwork. Delivered free of charge by courier or personally by me. I offer menu printing services all over Northern Ireland. They are fairly disposable, so we usually print onto 130gm gloss due to take-outs. If you need waterproof menus, that’s no problem, as some are laminated to keep in your shop.

Menu Printing Northern Ireland

Menu printing for restaurants and various shops, including a kebab takeaway, restaurant and a pizzeria. This is quite a popular choice for these types of businesses and shops. There are various formats, including DL 210 x 99 mm (folded from A4 size when flat), 130 gm and trifold, which means folded twice. If you need an extra panel when folded from 396 x 210 mm when flat, just ask, as the prices increase a bit. Another format shown is simply an A4 portrait folded in a half-short edge, so this would be a single fold instead of a trifold. This is great if you have fewer items.

For me to quote, I need to know

  1. Size - What is the size?

This can vary, but DL 210 x 99 mm trifold (meaning three panels and two folds), when folded from A4 (210 x 297 mm), is the standard, although it doesn’t need to be this size, it can be any size and finish you want. Another option is a larger A3 when flat. This is less popular due to its size. There are a wide range of sizes available.

  2. Folding - How are they folded?

Usually, tri-fold or half-fold is normal, but if there is another fold other than this, let me know

  3. Quantity - How many do you need?

  4. Paper Stocks - What type of paper stock do you need printed menus onto?

130 gm gloss is the standard but can be slightly heavier if need be at 170 gm

  5. Design - Do you need them designed, or have you got artwork ready?

  6. Delivery - Where do you need them to be delivered to?

My turnaround times, once approved, are one week, which is a fairly fast delivery.

Menu Printing Costs

  • 500 £159

  • 1000 £199

  • 5000 £299

Above are some costs for custom menus, which include design, print and delivery. If you already have graphic design artwork prepared, these would work out a bit cheaper, just ask. The larger quantities work best per menu and, therefore, are cheaper. Printed onto 130 gm gloss, A4 folded is tri-fold DL size when folded down. You can order online through my contact page.

Available Menu Sizes

  1. A5 (210 x 148 mm)

  2. A4 (297 x 210 mm)

  3. A3 (420 x 297 mm)

  4. DL (210 x 99 mm) , which is usually tri-fold

There are many different menu sizes, and I work as a restaurant and takeaway trifold menu printer in Belfast. I say trifold menus because this is the most common format for takeaways as they are disposable and can be kept for a while, so I always recommend 130 gm gloss, you don’t need heavier for takeaway menus as that’s a bit extreme. I can deliver to any area in the city, just ask.

The below example is printing DL (210 x 99 mm) trifold from A4 (297 x 210 mm) as shown in the red dotted line sample below. I don’t have any sample packs, as all mine are delivered, and I don’t keep any samples. Most formats are DL size folded from A4, but they don’t need to be this size they can be any size you want. Printing for a restaurant will be high quality and not too light, 130 gm gloss. All are professionally designed and printed. If you don’t see what you want here, I can quote for your custom menus, as businesses are generally different.

ARTWORK NOTE

When designing your artwork, keep your text and anything important within a 6 mm safe area from the edge. This ensures nothing is cut off when trimming.

Menu Printers Belfast

The examples below are shops that ordered off me out of several menu printers in Belfast, NI. They also ordered about ten laminated menus as well. Sometimes, these are called plastic, meaning the lamination is like a plastic coating keeping the print clean. You can also have a menu plan in printable format, and don’t forget they can include design. It’s important to get your takeaway menu correct in terms of content and prices, so you will need a good graphic designer to design them.

Folded menus are particularly tricky as the panel folds into itself, so pay careful attention to where the front panel and back panel are going to be folded down. A small mockup sample is vital in this case. Vibrant colours are used throughout so you can decide what colours you want, but rest assured, all my work has a premium feel.
