I was booked for a half day for Tracey and Wayne's Tullylagan Hotel wedding in County Tyrone including ceremony, family and portraits. The great couple booked me as their wedding photographer in Cookstown.

Tullylagan Country House Hotel Wedding

After the ceremony, we shot a couple of group photos of all the guests at the front of the stunning hotel then concentrated on some family photos. The bridal party made their way around the grounds of the couple’s Tullylagan Country House Hotel making our way back to the hotel, and meeting the resident dog running about on the way back! Ceremony

I was booked for the ceremony only at the couple’s wedding. I usually arrive about 30 minutes early before the ceremony starts and if need be stay a bit later if they are running a bit late. I arrive early to take a look at where’s suitable for some wedding photos as it’s a bit rushed later on.

Tullylagan Hotel closed

Unfortunately, Tullylagan Hotel closed in 2021 but there are plenty of others you can check out. Here’s the former owner’s message on Facebook…

….great sadness that I announce the Hotel is temporarily closed. Due to circumstances completely out of my control, and an imminent change of ownership, I am no longer a part of the business. This has been taken out of my control and I have been required to step aside. Tullylagan Hotel has been a part of my life for over 19 years and it is incredibly difficult to step aside at this time, as it means so much to me.

The hotel will be reopened very soon with a new management team at the helm. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that I have had the pleasure of meeting throughout my time there. I will be contacting everyone who has a booking with the Hotel to discuss this with them, please do not be concerned, if anyone would like any further information…
