Tannaghmore Gardens Family Photos in Lurgan at Autumn

Tannaghmore Gardens Family Photos, as Caroline booked for a session in Lurgan and as it was Autumn, golden brown leaves were on display. It was November, and you could see the leaves on the trees were a mixture of golden brown and green. There were some golden yellow leaves on the ground, which gave the images an autumn theme, which is why I like photographing families at this time of the year. Everyone had coats on too, including the photographer myself, so it was a little cold, as you’d expect.

Locations Family Pictures in Lurgan

We started at Tannaghmore Gardens (also called Tannaghmore Gardens and Animal Farm) with some walking, and the two parents holding the daughters’ hands. Walking a bit helps relax people rather than getting straight into family photos and posing, as this can be a little awkward. I try not to overdo these. We stopped at anything we thought was interesting, like a metal sculpture. To break things up, you don’t want everyone in every picture, as I thought the two kids together with a few combinations with the parents would be great.

I have been to Tannaghmore in Craigavon several times, and it’s great for an adventure with your family. It has nice stone work, beautiful flower areas and a maze too aswell as a play area for the young kids. Close by is an animal farm. It’s very well maintained by the ABC council.

Something else I do is change my point of view a little, as you don’t need to photograph family and groups at eye level, you can jump onto a seat to photograph from a slightly different angle. If I remember corectly Caroline ordered a canvas of one of the images. Hope you're happy with the images we captured on the day.
