The Loft and The Rabbit Hotel Wedding Pictures

The Loft and The Rabbit Hotel Wedding Pictures in the summer with Joanne and Simon’s ceremony and reception in Templepatrick. For detailed information about my wedding packages, you can browse through my brochure below.

Joanne and Simon’s photos were rescheduled, and they chose the excellent The Rabbit. We had met before for their pre-wedding pictures to go through their day briefly. The ceremony was downstairs, and the reception was upstairs.

I met the girls in the morning, getting ready for bridal preparation upstairs in their room (formerly Templeton Hotel). It was a fairly tight squeeze as there were a lot of girls in the room, which made one quite nervous, ha ha, only joking! One of the warmest weeks on record, I believe. In the morning, I was photographing between the upstairs and downstairs, where the lads were already ready. Groom prep was not needed this time, just a few at the front and back near where the ceremony was to be held.

Wedding Ceremony Photography in The Rabbit Hotel

We’ll get to the reasons why summer weddings are the best in the country, but let’s get back to the ceremony photography. The ceremony was held outside, with the humanist celebrant conducting, which was nice but very challenging as a photographer, as there were no clouds at all (not ideal lighting conditions). The hotel offers a one-wedding policy, so no other parties will bump into yours. The ceremony started, and Joanne made her stunning entrance after the girls, with her dad walking her up the aisle.

Having their son involved, too, was a nice touch. Afterwards, we took the group to a more shaded area with better lighting away from the strong summer sunlight, and we took some family and bridal photos in front of the arch in the beautiful lakeside garden area at the back of the hotel, even though the lake is quite small. The Rabbit offers excellent facilities and accommodations for guests, including discounts, access to spa facilities, and on-site accommodation for those staying overnight.

I offer affordable Rabbit prices with a range of prices and costs for your photos, ranging from a few hours to a full day, which includes bridal preparations up to your first dance, which I’m sure is not to be missed! The bridal preparations don’t need to be in the hotel itself, but can be anywhere. The price can be paid a bit each month up to your date, then it needs to be paid in full.

The package, which I have, ranges from half a day to a full day and is by far the best package option I have for your photos. With this package, you get all-day coverage, from bridal preparations up to your first dance. I'll even stay for your second dance if the atmosphere is great, getting your bridal party, too. There are packages with fewer hours, but you are missing quite a bit from the beginning or end of the day, so I don’t recommend these. At the end of the day, it is completely up to you, though. The prices reflect the quality of my photos and experience. For some inspiration, on this page, you can explore my blog featuring personal experiences, photos, and videos from one of the best venues.

Wedding Reception Photos upstairs in The Loft

Upstairs in The Loft, and before speeches commenced from Joanne’s dad at the top table, the groom and best man, great fun and not too long, just about the right length. In the evening, Joanne and Simon hit the dance floor in the beautifully decorated reception room, surrounded by their closest friends, which I made sure I captured with some lighting off camera. It’s always great to take photos of the first dance as you have the guests watching. The first dance was great, with a couple of the guests dancing at their tables under the twinkling feature chandeliers. All in all, it was a great day, and time was had by all, wishing you all the best with your future together. Thank you for booking me as your wedding photographer as it was one of the best I’ve been to.

I captured photos from bridal preparations to the first dance; it worked out magically, and it also helped the sun beaming down on the guests at the ceremony. The venue features a comfy lounge area equipped with a cosy outdoor grand fireplace, providing a warm and charming setting for guests to enjoy, relax and unwind. The seating plan was well laid out, letting guests enjoy the ceremony as they took centre stage.

The Loft is above the fantastic Rabbit Hotel in Templepatrick and is one of the country’s best venues, no doubt. It’s not too far away from Belfast International Airport, at only a 15-minute drive and only about a 20-minute drive, depending on where you're located in the city.
