Engagement and Pre-Wedding Photos in Tannaghmore Gardens
Summer Engagement and Pre-Wedding Photos in Tannaghmore Gardens with these fab couples, as they booked me for a photo session in Craigavon.
Tannaghmore Gardens Engagement Photoshoot
Sarah booked me through her friend Rebecca, as they had also had their engagement photos taken in Tannaghmoore Gardens (see below). They both live in Portadown, so we‘re not too far away from the location. We met around the car park and started with some active type pictures of the couple holding hands and walking along chatting. This is the usual thing I do to get the couple. I also asked if they were ok with some kissing-type photos, and they were fine with that.
Tannaghmore Gardens is between Lurgan and Portadown. It’s more located in Lurgan, though. It’s very well maintained by Craigavon Borough Council (also called ABS). It’s a great place to bring the kids and family, as it has an animal farm close by. It also has a play park, so plenty of things for the kids. The site is centred on Fairview House, a Georgian farmhouse built in the late 18th century.
I have to be honest and say the gardens are one of the best outside locations locally in Craigavon for engagement photos! Best to dress casually as there is a bit of walking involved. You want romantic or fun, you have it here. We took a walk around, taking a range of pictures, trying to break things up a bit, like sitting down on the nice wooden bench and under the hedge archway. We walked around the museum at the barn, which is at the back of the gardens. The outside of the museum has large red doors, which first opened its doors in 1997.
We took a walk around some parts of the gardens, taking photos if we saw something interesting. For engagement photos, there was no shortage of locations and areas within walking distance. We didn’t get to the maze, but maybe next time. I tried to think of variations in walking, standing, posing and sitting down to break the images up a bit. There was some fantastic stone work here. As it was summer, the flowers were in full bloom. Hope you enjoy your engagement photos, Sarah and Connor. All the best with your future together, and if you're looking for a Craigavon Wedding Photographer, get in touch with me.

A Surprise Engagement Photo Session in Tannaghmore Gardens
Amanda chose Tannaghmore, which is located close to the M1. It was a surprise for Ian as I don’t think he quite knew what hit him in a good way, though lol. They both live in Armagh. The gardens offer many areas for a couple's photo shoot, diverse and picturesque backdrops to capture intimate and romantic moments.
Amanda booked me for their surprise engagement photos. We captured a varied range of images, mixing things up a bit, too. I’d been here a few times previously, as it’s fairly local to me, but there is always the odd wee place you pick up on each time you visit the park. A USB was ordered, and then Amanda and Ian picked a photo that would be printed onto a large canvas. Thanks for asking me to take photos of your engagement, Amanda and Ian.
These were surprise photos as Amanda had arranged with me. Ian must have thought he was heading to the park for a look around as he looked gobsmacked! Highly recommend the spot and location to everyone.
How do you plan a Surprise Engagement Photo Shoot?
The planning of your surprise engagement photos needs to be thought out a little and pre-planned, although not too much, as it will spoil the excitement. A good planner, like myself, will help you plan things out, so if you have any enquiries or this is something you're thinking about, get in touch with me as I’d love to hear from you. Don’t let your partner know about this, as it’ll ruin the surprise. Just tell them you’re going out for a drive to a nice location or park. Capturing natural interactions during engagement images is essential to reflect the couple's true personalities and emotions.
Pre-Wedding Pictures in Tannaghmore Gardens
Rebecca chose here for a pre-wedding photo shoot, and we all live in Portadown, so quite handy for us all to get there. They are getting married in Craigavon Civic Centre and having their reception in Banneville Hotel. I know Rebecca’s father and dad, Conrad, from our old school days, and we both live in Killicomaine (sometimes called Killycomaine). We started the pre-wedding photo shoot with some active type images walking around the gardens, mixing photos up a bit as we went along. Looking forward to photographing your big day.
