Lurgan Park

Lurgan Park is located off the main street in the town and is ideal for families, engagements, pre-weddings, communions and weddings. This is meant to be one of the largest urban parks in Northern Ireland. The park is known as a hidden gem. There are some events here during the summer months. It is located beside a man-made lake with plenty of swans on show and jetties scattered around the lake for fishermen and families to sit and enjoy a picnic. Not too far away is Brownlow Castle. There are also the tennis courts over to one side of the park and a kids’ play park. It’s all well-maintained by Craigavon Borough Council.
