Wedding Photographer Lurgan
Wedding Photographer in Lurgan, and this is my collection of portfolio images in or close to the town, with more than 10 years of experience across NI. Some of the images are from my Grachall and Riverdale Barn weddings. But first lets look at an actual wedding I photographed.
Wedding Preparations Photography Lurgan
I was booked for Ciara and Patrick’s wedding photography and arrived early in the morning for some bridal preparations at the bride’s parents’ house in Portland Manor, Lurgan. There were plenty of people there already, including hair stylists and make-up artists, so everything was in full swing, so to speak. Paddy didn’t need any groom prep, so I spent the morning here. I arrived a bit early, so I had a quick nibble with food supplied by Jeaniebelle’s Afternoon Tea and started with some detail-type photos and tend not to take too many of these, but just a couple, as well as the dresses hanging up.
Unfortunately, when I bent down to get a different angle, I heard a rip as the side of my trousers ripped open quite a bit, which can be a bit embarrassing as a wedding photographer! Thankfully, Ciara’s mum was on hand to stitch up the gaping hole, and all was right as rain. Note to self: don’t bend down quickly when wearing new trousers haha lol ;) I took some of the brides’ and bridesmaids’ dresses supplied by My Fair Lady Bridal, hanging them up in the front window and on the living room door. I also took some more detailed photos of Perfect Day’s headpiece on the bride and close-ups of eyelashes. Thankfully, the dog sitter was looking after Ciara’s dog for the day.
Wedding Ceremony Photography
Before the cars arrived, I took wedding photography of everyone at St Peter's Parish Catholic Church. I headed off to the church, which was only about a 5-minute drive away, to take some of Paddy, the best man and the groomsmen. When I arrived, there were a couple of guests at this stage, but not too many.
While I was taking some groom and best man photos in front of the church, the guests started to arrive, and soon afterwards, the two I Do Cars with the bride and the bride’s family too, so Paddy nipped back into the church. I got some quick photos of Ciara and her dad inside the car, as well as outside, too, with the bridal party and parents. I tried to move around the church a bit, taking various images, but the priest conducting the ceremony didn’t want me moving at all (understatement!), so I was asked to stay over to the side. Unfortunately, I didn't get too many ceremonies inside the church. When the ceremony was finished, we got some photos at the signing table before proceeding outside. I managed to grab some quick images walking down the aisle, but it was a tight squeeze.
