Going Away Party Pictures and Video in Edenmore Country Club

Bens send off, as he's off to the Navy, as I was booked for their get-together. Dee booked me for Ben’s going-away surprise party with the family. As I was booked for both solo (meaning one person) photos and videos throughout the evening in The Kircassock Suite, I had to discuss with Dee what she wanted me to photograph or film, as I obviously couldn’t do both at the same time. I took photos and filmed some video of the setup before any guests arrived, including decorations and cake. With photos, you need a flash; otherwise, everyone will appear too dark. Lighting would be dreadful for photos. When the guests finally arrived, I organised the guests’ photos with Ben and his family and then with the other family members.

Edenmore Golf & Country Club is a golf course in Craigavon, offering an 18-hole parkland course, a country club, restaurant, spa, and accommodation facilities. It has a very peaceful setting, as you’d expect and plenty of car parking. Edemore House would make a great place for an event or family gathering. There is also a gym, spa facilities, and a restaurant. Their biggest function room is called The Kircassock Suite, which is ideal for weddings and large get-togethers like birthday parties, events and conferences.

We took photos in a corner of the room, and then some of Ben’s friends did too. The Curious Fox had a buffet, and the food was beautiful. There was a speech by Dee, Ben’s mum, showing old photos, so I needed to film this. Really, if there was anything audio like a speech, this needed to be filmed. Two cameras were recording for this part of the evening in case I needed wide footage. One filming wide on a tripod, and my own is on a monopod, so I can easily move. This was fun to hear, and some of the guests laughed throughout.

Afterwards, a policeman interrupted things as he was enquiring about a vehicle that just happened to be Ben's. After a few seconds, the policeman burst into song and a bit of fun, all part of the act by singing waiters Cameoflage, so stay until the end of the video for this! Towards the end of the evening, as I had to go, we got all the guests together for a group picture. For family photography and video, I tried to think of different angles to break things up a bit, wide, medium and close-ups. All the best with your future.

Birthday Party Photos in Craigavon

Family Party Photography in Edenmore House, as I was booked by Colin Tinsley for the 80th birthday evening in Craigavon. I knew Colin previously, so he asked me to take photos at his mother's and father’s get-together for about an hour. They booked The Kircassock Suite for the night, and there were plenty of formal and informal pictures taken throughout, mostly at the bottom of the stairs, as there was plenty of room at the entrance.

Some guests were standing and sitting down beside the fireplace. The older people were sitting for most of these pictures, as they might have had trouble standing for a while. We then went upstairs to the suite where there were some party decorations, and I took some guests at their tables and some casual candids too. Hope you're happy with the images I captured throughout the evening.
