Harrison Print and Design is Now Closed in Portadown
Harrison Print and Design is sadly now closed in Portadown, and you can contact me for any enquiries, although I never worked in the pre-press office.
Harrison's was owned by Barry Harrison and located on Irwin House, 18 Bridge Street, at the bottom of Portadown town centre. Barry retired and left the business over to his son Simon, who, I believe, ran it for a bit and then closed it down. Recently, sadly, the owner, Barry, passed away. I first knew the printing company in the early 1990s when they had the business over the road, then moved to their current premises.
Most of the customers and clients were, as you’d expect, from the Portadown and Craigavon areas, but some were from further afield. There was a good range of printing services in Harrisons, including brochures, NCR books and pads, stationery, posters, leaflets and flyers.
I have never worked in the company in Northern Ireland, but locally, the printer was well known to business types and people for commercial and business document printing. Just helping the previous customers and clients with their general or commercial printing. I can also work on graphics if you don’t have artwork for printing.
