Lusty Beg Island Wedding Video

Lusty Beg Island Wedding Video, as Joanna and Michael booked me for a highlights film and a full wedding video in Enniskillen and Kesh. I am super glad the couple booked for their wedding videography and film.

I’m so glad I was booked for the special day, which was great from the start (although a little wet!) to the finish. In the morning, I made my way to Joanna’s family home, where the girls had hair and make-up already finished earlier with Joanna’s parents, sister and bridal party. There were a few video clips of the wedding dress hanging up before filming some bridal preparations and everyone chilling out, relaxing, making for a very relaxed morning indeed.

Closer to leaving, the girls changed into their wedding dresses, everyone looking fantastic, by the way, with Joanna looking the most spectacular in her wedding dress! The campervan arrived, and before the family left, I grabbed a few more video clips before I headed off to the couple’s Lustybeg Island wedding. When I arrived for the couple’s wedding on the shores of Lough Erne, there, as you’d expect, was too long a queue, so I parked in the car park, grabbed my video gear, and briskly headed to the ceremony room.

The minister, Eleanor Hayden, was already there with Michael and the groomsmen, so I quickly set up my second camera and audio microphones as I needed sound recorded as well as beside the wedding singer, Lisa Murphy and keyboard player at the back of the room. The ceremony room was well decorated. The bridal party walked up the aisle first, then the bride, accompanied by her dad, walked in lastly, and the ceremony commenced as you’d expect from a minister. It was quite religious but not too much, along with a good selection of hymns.

There were two speakers, Andrew, Joanna’s brother and also Allen, Michael’s brother. Both didn’t pick up the microphone, so I simply moved behind the bride and groom and positioned myself as close as possible to the speakers so I could record readings. There was some fun to be had in the ceremony as it was quite light-hearted.

Afterwards, guests made their way to the lounge area, and Joanna and Michael headed out beside the Beetle Campervan before the chauffeur was finished. At this stage, it was still raining, so there was a canopy beside the ceremony room windows. Before the guests were called in for wedding celebrations, as the speeches were about to start, there was some quick footage of the fab cake by Baked by Ann. Joanna’s dad poked fun at the groom’s football team choice, which was jolly good fun indeed. Then, both Michael’s brothers’ speeches finish off with the groom’s speech.

The rain stopped, so I got a bit of drone footage that I thought I could hopefully incorporate into the highlights film. There were a few more people outside now as the staff were clearing tables.

The dance floor was in a different position when I was here last, as the hotel built a new private bar at the back of the function room, so the dance floor was in the middle of the room with the band off to the side. The wedding band called the bride and groom in for the first dance, which I filmed with a two-camera setup up so there are a couple of angles. Plenty of audio recorders were used, too. Everyone joined in, too, which was great to see along with the guests. Have a great future together.
